Cleaning The Piercing With Aftercare Spray

The saline spray is isotonic, which means you don't have any side effects, and the spray stays sterile in the bottle so there's no chance of contaminating your piercing. It also feels refreshing with the healing piercing and is very comfortable.

Recommend cleaning after shower to avoid leaving residue on your personal care products. These products are usually full of fragrances, dyes, and other ingredients that can irritate your new piercing. You can also use Piercing Aftercare Spray 3oz for better results.

Other things to consider when caring for your new piercing:

• Your first piercing will be soft and there will be redness, swelling, and discharge. This discharge can be clear, yellow, white, or green. These are all normal features of a healing piercing and nothing to worry about.

• Be healthy. Eat well, stay hydrated, and get enough sleep. The better you feel, the better your new piercing will feel (and look!).

• Do not touch the piercing. Every time you touch your piercing, you irritate it, which can cause excessive redness and swelling.

• Do not twist or twist jewelry. As noted above, this irritates.

• Avoid going straight to bed with your new piercing.

• Try not to get jewelry on clothes, towels, bedsheets, etc. Be careful when changing or taking off your clothes.

Most piercings, when done, have an extra length to allow swelling. Over time, the piercing will get better if the jewelry is tied with a shorter ribbon, usually 6-8 weeks after healing.
